This is a Tropical pond plant – that can be treated as an annual or brought in to be a houseplant during winter months.  This aquatic plant can also be used in wetlands.

This plant comes to you in a mesh container and can be placed directly in the pond or water garden - or if you wish you can transplant it into a larger container.

The plant is planted in a coarse growing media - not soil - to maximize the benefit to the pond.  By requiring the plant to derive all its nutrients from the pond water itself it competes directly with the algae and helps reduce - dramatically - the phosphate and nitrogen in the pond water.  Hence the pond owner spends much less time involved in taking care of the pond.

These plants have a strong healthy set of roots and are ready to grow.
