* Bloom: Brown Flower (cylinder shape atop stalk) - late summer
* Submerge pot 0"- 10" below surface of water - place roots in water, and plant foliage above water level

This plant comes to you in a mesh container and can be placed directly in the pond or water garden - or if you wish you can transplant it into a larger container.
The plant is planted in a coarse growing media - not soil - to maximize the benefit to the pond. By requiring the plant to derive all its nutrients from the pond water itself it competes directly with the algae and helps reduce - dramatically - the phosphate and nitrogen in the pond water. Hence the pond owner spends much less time involved in taking care of the pond.
This is a beautiful plant that every pond owner will enjoy.
This plant will compete with the algae by reducing the nutrients available to the algae.
These plants have a strong healthy set of roots - as seen in picture - and are ready to grow.
The picture is a representative of the plant you will receive, and in no way means the one pictured is the exact plant you will receive.
